The system requires a few minutes of GPS updates in the same area in order to create a location in the schedule. In the event of the device being in an unknown location, the device must be in the location for at least 5 minutes for it to create a location in the schedule.
In some places, cellular coverage drops quickly. For example, in schools that block cellular reception. In this case, the system will not have sufficient data to create an "Unknown" entry.
