Can the device be used as a regular phone?
The AngelSense device is designed as assistive technology and while it does in many ways act as an adaptive cell phone, No it is not a regular phone. To assure continuous monitoring, the device is fully controlled and managed by AngelSense and cannot be used as a regular phone.
The phone does auto answer, removing the need for the wearer of the device to have the physical and/or cognitive ability to answer a call.
The 2-Way Voice (AngelCall) feature allows you to place a two-way call to the device with no need to push any buttons. You can speak directly to the wearer of the device or in the case Angel is non verbal or in a situation where they are to overwhelmed to speak, you can speak to anyone near the device directly as the device answers on speaker phone setting.
The SOS- Direct Call setting, allows the wearer of the device to call the preset number with a push of one button.
