Data Privacy and Security
AngelSense applies the highest security standards in order to protect the data of our users.
- All user data including GPS location data are encrypted and stored in Amazon AWS RDS secured servers in the US. All data is encrypted – stored data, as well as its automated backups, read replicas, and snapshots.
- All communication between the AngelSense GPS device and any of the system components is encrypted as well.
- You can only view tracking information after logging into the app using your specific login credentials.
- In AngelSense app iOS version 1.8.1 and above, we ask for permission to track activity across other apps as required by Apple. This is not in relation to the device being able to track, only in tracking personal data which is used by the AngelSense to monitor for potential issues and to provide better service.
