Feeling Outnumbered
Parents report that IEPs often seem “already written” before meetings, making them feel like they’re just handed a copy and asked to sign.
Drowning in Jargon
PLAAFP, FAPE, LRE, ESY, IEE… The alphabet soup creates massive barriers while you’re trying to advocate for your child.
Emotional Overwhelm
Parents describe “escalating dread” and “the pit forming in your stomach” when meetings approach. The stress affects entire families.
“I was caught off guard by how hard it was to listen to the IEP team members talk about the evaluation
results. We heard phrases like ‘below average’ and ‘very low.’ We listened to
a slew of numbers detailing how standardized assessments rated our ‘non-standard’ child.”

AngelSense has been such a good thing in our household because it has made our son more independent.
AngelSense is a huge comfort for him knowing that his parents are there at any given time of the day while he’s away from home. Because of AngelSense my son takes the trash out and walks the dog around the building. He also gives himself a bath, feed the dog, and change her padding before he goes to school. He slowly is becoming more independent and I have AngelSense to thank for not having to helicopter over him. Thank you AngelSense! You guys are awesome!

As a parent of a child with autism, I have always worried about Ethan’s safety when he is out of my sight.
But with Angelsense, I can monitor his location in real-time and receive alerts if he goes outside of a predetermined safe zone. It’s like having a guardian angel watching over him, giving me peace of mind even when I’m not there.

I’m really grateful for this device. I got it for my daughter… She has Down Syndrome and has wandered in the past.
It gives me great peace of mind to be able to see where she is. And if I’m concerned for some reason, like if the bus is running late, sometimes I’ll call the device on “one-way mode” just to listen in and be sure she’s okay. It’s always been a big stressor, having to keep my “ radar” on to know where she is at all times. This device would be a great blessing to so many parents.
